SYNOPSIS : You're taken to a time where the human carelessness of Earth has caught the attention of a unique alien race. Living "frequencies" that take the form of humans once on earth, along with the power to transform humans into mannequin-like "body forms", while also using earth-made mannequins to cause great trouble undetected, and to house (cocoon) thousands of alien invaders from a distant dead planet. Their most bizarre and terrifying ability is that they can occupy an incomplete mannequin and make themselves complete in a unique but horrifying fashion. What the hell? Don't worry,... that's the book (long) version.
However, the ultimate invasion is nearing, and THIS SHORT STORY deals with one alien's journey through the redundant process that has taken years to accomplish. It's not easy when you're just a frequency. It's even harder when you choose to meld with a "body form" that has missing appendages. Now how do you suspect that issue gets resolved? It's sometimes difficult, but the aliens have figured out a consistent way of slowly eliminating the human race, while apparently hundreds of thousands of embodied mannequins lie in dormancy around the world. You'll never look at a mannequin the same way.
