SYNOPSIS : This film focuses on a typical Chinese family: a controlling mother and a good student who is rebellious in heart but seems to be sensible and obedient with excellent grades. Many of the symbols in the film also have unique Chinese meanings: the love that was ignorant in youth but forbidden by parents, a wall full of awards, achievements and scores that were excessively valued, and the sea with the symbol of freedom. The girl in the story is like a fish in a fish tank. She yearns for freedom. She may have struggled and fought for it, but she is like a fish shop that is finally trapped in a fish tank.
